Welcome back, how have the sins been going? Hopefully you are using sunscreen daily and staying hydrated. Did you find your favorite way to infuse your water? Skin Sins 1 & 2 can be found on Part 1. Are you ready to find out skin sins 3, 4 & 5? Let's go!

#3 Using Synthetic Make-Up

Do you know what is in you make-up? If you cannot pronounce it or have never heard of it before, more than likely you do not want it on your skin. Your skin is a giant sponge absorbing everything you put onto your skin. Putting chemicals on your skin through make-up inadvertently absorbs into your body. Check the labels before you purchase your skin will thank you

#4 Not Cleaning your Phone

This one was an eye opener for me. We spend every day, all day on our phones but how often does your phone receive a good wipe down? Not enough is the answer. Dirt and bacteria are spread from your hands, to your phone and then to your face. Over time your pores become clogged leading to blackheads and acne.

#5 Picking your Skin

Do you want in on my secret? This is my biggest skin sin. Picking your skin causes scaring, increases heal time and raises the risk of infection. The dirt and bacteria under your fingernails spreads into your raw wound that was just picked and then BAM infection which causes scaring. Wash your hands more often and No Picking!!

I have been picking my skin since I was little. Most of the time it is subconsciously, and I usually don't know till it's too late. Working hard not to pick, I have found if I use MotherEarth AfterCare Spray on any cuts or acne spots, they heal quicker allowing less time to pick. So far, has there been any skin sin that is the hardest for you to stop?
